hello, shen here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

currently on a shenanigan-filled sabbatical. was previously (semi-professionally) playing and drawing at daybreak and read.cv.

you can also find me wandering down every aisle at the grocery store, reading as much as i can, or typing up silly little html sites.

i'm often in the process of figuring out who i am and what that means. many days, it seems like i know nothing and want to do everything!!

one thing that's continued to feel clear, however: i care a lot about people and the spaces that support them.

i'm happiest when i can help others thrive.. cultivating ecosystems for meaningful work, playful collaboration, and shared understanding. somehow, i've been lucky enough to do this for a living!!!!!!

this work has pushed me to learn across different teams and mediums: community engagement, creative strategy, storytelling, content design, research, project management, and a lot of in-betweens.

at the end of the day, there’s something especially compelling about the kinds of things that don’t slot neatly into categories or sit still for long… practices and processes shaped by, and for, people who blur disciplines and create from the heart!!

boxes are fun for sites, but not everything i care about fits in one.

i hope to keep building a home for that kind of thing.. on the web and beyond.. something that moves and shifts… occasionally breaks a little… and above all, centres the human in it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
